Ferruggio, 28 April 1916. Lamborghini was born in the small town of Renazzo in the province of Ferrara, Italy.
In 1948 he founded the Lamborghini Tractor Company. In the immediate aftermath of World War II, he began building tractors from abandoned military vehicles, and Lamborghini continued to manufacture heaters and air conditioning systems until 1959.
In 1959 to challenge Enzo. The Ferrari taunt, Ferruggio. Lamborghini decided to make its own sports cars, began to prepare for the creation of Lamborghini Automobile company, 1963 Turin Motor Show, he showed his first sports car: Lamborghini 350GT, from the official birth of Lamborghini Automobile company.
1968, Ferruggio. Lamborghini founded Chateau Lamborghini and in 1972 he sold Automobile Lamborghini and returned to his estate in the province of Perugia to focus on his winery until his death on 20 February 1993.
His funeral also revealed his great passion for engines and work: he was loaded into an old farm car and taken to Renazzo, transported to the cemetery by one of his Lamborghini tractors, with some of his Lamborghini supercars parked at the entrance.
His tombstone reads, "Work well in the new Godhome."
