On November 18, the 2023 at the Hotel Cavalier in Rome, the annual extravaganza of the Italian Wine Estates, the awards ceremony, the stars were shining!
More than 1,200 wine moguls from around the world have gathered here with their talent and passion for wine to celebrate 742 wines from Grappoli and 52 Grappa Awards for excellence.
Awards dinner, 110 tables in the center of a total of 4,400 lights, together lit up this glorious moment! Dinner with 12,000 bottles of Muraglia olive oil and 9,516 bottles of wine, worth more than 650,000 euros.
In addition, 3600 bottles of felite water, 540,000 ice cubes, 13,860 cutlery, 4,820 glasses, 249 songs and 190 Sommeliers were prepared to provide the guests with their favorite wine. From the kitchen to the dining room, there are more than 700 waiters.

The 59 editors tasted 18,000 wines and wrote 159,000 pages about professional wines. Fifty staff members spent 200 hours preparing the dinner. 1.5 million pieces of gold will rain down to greet each guest, and will meet again in 2025!
